MicroResearch Uganda is a not-for-profit company, registered in Kampala.
The company is managed jointly by Uganda-based Richard Nalela, and UK-based Arjan Verschoor

Objectives

  1. To facilitate high-quality socio-economic research in Uganda in all stages of the research process, including research design, data collection and analysis;
  2. To disseminate findings of this research to policymakers in the form of evidence-based policy advice;
  3. To build capacity among recent graduates in Uganda in the form of the training and practice of research skills.

We offer a range of specialised socio-economic research services and access to a network of highly qualified research assistants and supervisors all over Uganda.

We have developed particular expertise in implementing behavioural experiments for experimental economists, the implementation of household surveys and the evaluation of impact of micro-finance and micro-insurance, but are willing to consider projects outside our previous focus.
